In parapsychology, the word clairvoyance is used purely to explain information - in the present time and not really readily accessible to the clairvoyant - received from an external source, as opposed to telepathy, where information is transmitted from one mind to a new. In other words, a clairvoyant has the ability to see or visualise events, things or persons away from capability or selection of physical sight.
Remote viewing, usually a managed, specific process, is a facet of voyance amour, as is clairvoyant dreaming. For instance, you might dream about a location they've got never seen before and later on find it is exactly as they had visualised it within their dream.
This happened to me, for example, when I was about to start my own first term at school. As I had never frequented the city where the college was located, my Father offered to take myself there in order to find the way in which from the train station to the college. Having imagined about it the night prior to we went, I was able to lead him to the school along the shortest route possible, knowing in which and when to turn. I was even able to simply tell him how long it would take us to get presently there.
However, outside of the industry of parapsychology the term is frequently used to describe other sorts of paranormal, or anomalous, perception. More often than not, it is used in relation to the perception of previous (retro cognition) or even future (precognition) events. This can be a gift many possess without even realising this. To use another knowledge as an example (and I usually do not claim to be a email in any way), a few years ago, the friend's daughter choose to go into hospital at the start of the evening to have the woman's first child. While with a group of common friends around 10 PM, an individual suggested we should contact the hospital and find out how she was climbing on. As one of them acquired the phone, I announced that a call would be wasted, as she'd have a little boy during the early hours of the subsequent morning. We called anyway and informed she was asleep as the labour experienced slowed. My friend informed me the next morning which her grandson came to be at 5:30 AM.
Frequently, mediums will also refer to the actual perception of images identified during communication with spirits as clairvoyance.
Regardless, clairvoyance is a precious present which can and should supply in order to help and also guide others.
